5 Antique Persian Bone Painting COLLECTION Marquetry Frame Polo Hunting Khatam
From my Mother’s estate. Stunning collection of 5 miniature, Persian paintings, professionally framed. One Depicting a possible battle or hunting scene on horseback. A game of polo, A polo rider, a farmer, and a peasant. Unfortunately, I do not know the exact region in which these were collected. However, they were professionally framed, this is a beautiful display. This features five miniature paintings I believe them all to be on bone. Along with 2 having marquetry inlaid frames, and fabulous ink embellishment on each one. Please disregard any glare or reflection on the glass. However, they are in deep frame. There is some faint age stain to the single polo rider on the bottom. See pic and some speckles to the angled one featuring the farmer, but I believe they’re intentional. These are very old. This will come to you very carefully boxed, the glass taped. As Always feel free to make reasonable offer. I also have some vintage travel brochure of Persia from the 1960s listed now.. It’s possible they were picked up in that era, I believe these were framed in the 90’s. These items come from a clean, pet and smoke-free home.
