Cate Mandigo is known for her American Folk art paintings that have been compared to Grandma Moses’ in their complexity, attention to detail and subject matter. An Adirondack painter, her work often depicts rural upstate New York images. Mandigo is an internationally collected artist who has been commissioned by the White House 4 times. In 2000 and 2007 she was the featured artist for public television station WMHT. Although her prints are more commonly offered it is extremely rare to find an original. This acrylic on canvas has beautiful warm colors that accent many home decor themes. In excellent used condition. I see no signs of age or use.
